Big Creek Park Trailhead
The Big Creek Park Trail is in a quiet area of the Medicine Bow National Forest. Located in the Sierra Madre Range, Big Creek Park Trail is managed by the Brush Creek/Hayden Ranger District. The trail winds through mixed conifer, aspen and willows. The trail is marked with tree blazes that can be difficult to see. A GPS or topographic map of the area is strongly recommended. Dispersed camping is not allowed within 300 feet of the trailhead, but is allowed along the trail as long as the camp is more than 100 feet from the trail, lakes, and streams. There are no restroom facilities, campgrounds or developed sites nearby.
