Adams Park Trailhead: Trail #1144
This trail provides motorized and foot, bike and horse access to the #1144 Bears Ears system of trails, connecting most directly with Adams Creek #1144.6A and #1144 Bears Ears. The trails system can be followed in many different ways, winding past Mount Oliphant, Sawtooth Mountain, Saddle Mountain, Sugarloaf Mountain, and Freeman Reservoir. With disperse camping all along the trail, this trail provides opportunities for multi-day backpacking in addition to day hiking.

Directions
From Steamboat Springs, go west on US HWY 40. In Hayden, take County Road 76 north, turn onto County Road 80, towards California Park, for around 23 miles. Turn west on Forest Road 117, Trailhead is 1/4 mile.
