Boreas Pass Auto Tour

Boreas Pass Auto Tour is a 21 1/2-mile drive that follows the former Denver, South Park and Pacific Railroad route from Como to Breckenridge.

The Boreas Pass road closes at both ends when the weather makes traveling difficult. Open dates are weather dependent.

Getting There

Directions

The interpretive route begins in Como, 10 miles northeast of Fairplay at the junction of US Highway 285 and Park County Road 33.  However, the tour can be reversed if you are coming from Breckenridge on Summit County Road 10.
