  • Downed and weakened trees on South Platte Ranger District

    Due to sustained high winds from the last stormfront, expect to see many downed and weakened trees on roads and trails in the South Platte Ranger District.

  • Turkey Tracks shooting range closed

    Forest Service officials have closed the Turkey Tracks shooting range after a fire was extinguished this morning. Douglas County deputies are on site and clearing the area in cooperation and support.

  • Turkey Tracks 69 wildfire alert

    UPDATE 12/1/2025: The Turkey Tracks 69 wildfire is controlled at 22 acres as of Nov. 30.

  • Seasonal area closure for Rock Climbing near Devils Head Trailhead
