O'Haver Lake Campground
O'Haver Lake Campground sits at an elevation of 9,200 feet, with ponderosa pines and aspen, with campsites located on the shores O'Haver Lake. This facility has 32 sites and is a very popular destination that is normally full starting on Friday, sometimes as early as Thursday, so plan accordingly.

Make Reservations HereCall 877-444-6777 or visit recreation.gov at least four days in advance. A minimum stay on Friday and Saturday night is required on weekends. A three-night minimum stay is required on holiday weekends. Walk-ups are exempt from the nightly minimum.
General Information
The historic Denver and Rio Grande railroad grade traveled from Salida, southwest to the summit of Marshall Pass. The grade travels along County Road 200 above O'Haver Lake. This is a very popular mountain biking route with cyclists traveling from Monarch Pass to Marshall Pass on the Crest trail and then traveling down the railroad grade into Poncha Springs. Silver Creek, Starvation Creek, Poncha Creek and the Rainbow Trail are also nearby trails.

Opening and closing dates are weather dependent. Services such as water, trash or a host may not be available during early and late season.

The Interagency Senior Pass (previously known as the Golden Age Pass) and the Interagency Access Pass qualifies for a 50% discount at concessionaire run campsites. The discount only applies to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass owner, not to any additional campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass owner's party
- A maximum of eight people, two tents and two vehicles or one RV per site.
- Maximum RV length is 45 ft.
- Dogs must be leashed at all times.
- No discharge of firearms or fireworks.
- No motorized watercraft.
$28 fee per site for overnight camping. Two vehicles or one recreational vehicle per site is included in the camping fee. $10 fee for a third vehicle.
$10 fee for day use if not camping overnight.
Fees are payable by cash, check or money order. Self-servicing fee tube is available. Sites must be occupied the first night of payment.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times.

Directions
From Salida, travel west on U.S. Highway 50 to Poncha Springs. Turn south on U.S. Highway 285 for 5 miles. Turn right and go west on County Road 200 for 2.3 miles. Go west on County Road 202 for 2.5 miles.
