Osprey Campground
This campground has 13 campsites available for tent camping only. At an elevation of 6,200 feet, it is open year-round. This campground has picnic table and fire ring at each campsite. Portable toilets are available during peak season.
All dates are weather dependent. Visitors may expect full service from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. The area also has an extended season when services such as water, trash or a host may not be available during the fall, winter and spring.
General Information
No campground host on site. Host is located at Lone Rock Campground. Firewood available for sale from host.
A maximum number of eight people per campsite is permitted. No more than a 14-night consecutive stay is permitted in the campground. Vehicles must be parked in established site. No vehicle parking behind barriers.
Please be careful with your campfire. In the campgrounds, fires must be in the ring/grate provided.

The Interagency Senior Pass and the Interagency Access Pass qualifies for a 50% discount at concessionaire run campsites. The discount only applies to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass owner, not to any additional campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass owner's party.
REMEMBER! You must be in a designated campground to stay overnight. Fires are permitted only in the campgrounds; no fires are allowed in the picnic areas. No shooting allowed! Much of the property along the river is privately owned. Please respect the posted signs.
The following restrictions apply to this campground:
- A maximum eight people, two tents and two vehicles per site.
- Dogs must be leashed at all times.
- No discharge of firearms or fireworks.
- Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground.
$24 fee per site for overnight camping. Two vehicles per site are included in the camping fee. $11 fee for a third vehicle.
$11 fee for day use if not camping overnight.
Fees are payable by cash, check or money order.
Dogs must be leashed at all times.

Directions
From Denver, travel U.S. Highway 285 to Pine Junction. Take south on Jefferson County Road 126 and drive for approximately 25 miles to Douglas County 67 at Deckers. Campground is located 10 miles north of Deckers on the left side.
From Sedalia, travel U.S. Highway 67 from Sedalia to Sprucewood. Stay on 67 South until you reach pavement at the South Platte River. Go four miles north to Osprey Campground, which is on the left side.
