Printer Boy Group Campground

Printer Boy is located within the Turquoise Lake Recreation Area and is a great campground for larger groups. There are four sites available by reservation (two sites accommodate up to 35 people each, and the other two sites accommodate up to 75 people each).

 A centrally located cooking shelter with electricity is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Firewood is sold at the camp host site. Facilities include vault toilets, potable water, ball fields, a playground, horseshoe pits and a volleyball area. A recreational vehicle (RV) dump station is available near the campground.

Call 1-877-444-6777 or visit recreation.gov at least four days in advance. A Friday and Saturday night minimum stay is required on weekends. A three-night minimum stay is required on holiday weekends.

General Information

The facility is generally open May through September. Opening and closing dates are weather dependent.

Check in: 2 p.m.
Check out: 12 p.m.
Quiet hours: 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The following restrictions apply to this campground:

  • A maximum of eight people is allowed per site.
  • A maximum of three tents or one RV and two tents is allowed per site.
  • Dogs must be leashed at all times.
  • No discharge of firearms or fireworks is allowed.
  • Only licensed vehicles can operate inside the campground.
  • Camping is not allowed behind a locked gate.

Group sites 1 and 4 are $160 per night; sites 2 and 3 are $81 per night. RV dump station use is $17. 

Dogs must be leashed at all times.

Water

Potable water is not available at this site.

Water will NOT be available in this campground in 2025. Please bring enough water for your needs, including water to fully extinguish your campfire.

Also, the RV dump station at White Star will remain closed this season.
