Spring Creek Trailhead
The Spring Creek Trailhead offers picnicking, hiking and fishing opportunities. Three picnic sites, a restroom and a trash receptacle are available. This area is usually open May to October, depending on snow conditions.
All dates are weather dependent. All services may not be available early or late in the season.
General Information
Weather in the summer is generally mild with warm days and cool nights; highs in the 80s and lows in the 40s. Afternoon thunderstorms are a common occurrence. Spring and fall weather is usually dry and sunny with highs in the 60s and lows in the 30s.
The Interagency Senior Pass and the Interagency Access Pass qualify for a 50% discount at concessionaire-run campsites. The discount only applies to the fee for the site or vehicle physically occupied by the pass owner, not to any additional site(s) or vehicles occupied by members of the pass owner's party.
