Travel Management
The Forest Service has completed a comprehensive travel management plan which balances the travel and recreation needs of the public with the management and protection of natural resources. Motor Vehicle Use Maps (MVUMs) are also available by district and season.
Air Resource Management Plan
The purpose of this Air Resource Management Plan is to assess current air resource conditions and trends on the WRNF, identify existing and future air quality impacts to these resources, and provide guidance for future air resource monitoring and management activities on the WRNF.
Ski Area Master Development Plans
Many ski areas across the country are partially or completely located on public lands, including 12 commercial downhill and four commercial cross country ski areas on the White River National Forest. In addition to the land use fee, ski areas are also asked to prepare Master Development Plans (MDPs) that identify the existing and desired conditions for the ski area and the proposed improvements
