Recreation Region: Dillon Ranger District

Spring Creek Area

The Spring Creek area is on the northern end of the Dillon Ranger District and the Gore Range mountains. There is a network of roads open to OHV use and dispersed camping. Much of the area is in the lodgepole pine and spruce/fir forests. There are viewpoints along these roads of the surrounding mountains.  These network of roads go in and out of Forest Service lands; there are sections that are operated by Summit County, the Beaurau of Land Management, and Arapaho National Forest - be sure to use the Dillon Ranger District Motor Vehicle Use Map to know where you are.
