Horse Riding and Camping

Horse Riding and camping can be found in many different areas around the Coronado.

Horseback Riding

Horse riding is allowed on trails across the Coronado National Forest. Be aware that many trails on the forest are very rugged, some are in poor condition (due to fires or lack of maintenance), and a few pose serious hazards for horses (including some trails in the Pusch Ridge Wilderness).

Horse Camping

Horse corrals are also available at the Half Moon Ranch and Shaw House Cabin.
