Cave Creek Trailhead

 

Cave Creek Trailhead is a must if you’re exploring Seven Springs! The trail is an easy hike along the creek where you can bird watch various species that like to frequent the riparian watershed area. Review-At-A-Glance below for more details about this site.

General Information

No Passes Required / Fee Free Area
Stay limit 1 day.  Day use only.  No trailers.  PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Glass containers prohibited.  Bury human waste 6-8 inches and at least 200 feet away from camp, trails, water sources, and dry drainages.

Directions

This site is 20 miles north of Carefree. From Carefree, take Cave Creek Road/Forest Road (FR) 24. The last 9 miles of FR 24 is an all weather gravel road. The gravel portion of the road is narrow with blind curves. View and download a map.
