Civilian Conservation Corps Campground
Civilian Conservation Corps Campground offers spread out camp sites with large sycamore trees providing shade. Picnic tables and firepits with cooking grates are available for families to enjoy while passing the time away together. Cave Creek Trailhead is nearby where you can follow along the Cave Creek Riparian Ecosystem. This spot is popular for bird watching!
General Information

- No trailers over 16'.
- Hikers and equestrians should park at the trailhead to the north.
- Quiet hours 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (running generators are not permitted during quiet hours).

Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Pass holders receive 50% discount (persons over 62 or who live with a permanent disability) for single camp units only. Available at Tonto National Forest Offices and online at USGS.gov.
Overnight Site: $16/night.
Please be prepared to pay with DEBIT or CREDIT card at the Digital Fee Machine located at Cave Creek District Office or Bartlett Vista.

Directions
This site is 20 miles north of Carefree. From Carefree, take Cave Creek Road/Forest Road (FR) 24. The last 9 miles of FR 24 is an all weather gravel road. The gravel portion of the road is narrow with blind curves.
