From the Desert to the Tall Pines Scenic Byway
From the Desert to the Tall Pines Scenic Byway provides forest visitors the opportunity to experience the variety of landscapes and resources that central Arizona provides. The theme From the Desert to the Tall Pines reflects this emphasis. Visitors will be introduced to the complex ecosystems that contribute to their quality of life as they pass through various biotic communities along the 74 miles of SR-288 designated as a Scenic Byway.
Common destination stops include the Tonto Natural Bridge State Park and Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
