Paris Springs Campground

Paris Springs Campground is nestled along the banks of Paris Creek in Paris Canyon, about five miles west of Paris, Idaho. Tucked within the Caribou-Targhee National Forest near the Bear River Range, this campground sits at an elevation of 6,600 feet, accessible via County Roads 421 and 427 off U.S. Highway 89.

Natural Features: The gentle Paris Creek meanders nearby, bordered by dense stands of pines and aspens that cast cool shade in summer and glow with color in fall. Wildflowers dot the landscape during warmer months, enhancing the area’s serene beauty.

Numerous hiking, biking, and off-road vehicle trails crisscross the region, including access to the 55-mile Highline National Recreation Trail, offering ample chances to explore the rugged splendor of southeast Idaho’s high country.

Facilities: The campground provides seven single-family sites and three group sites, each furnished with picnic tables and campfire rings. Vault toilets and drinking water are available. Roads and parking spurs are dirt or gravel.

Directions

Paris Idaho is about 16 miles north of the Idaho-Utah border on US Hwy.89. Located at the southern end of this small community is the intersection of US 89 and County Road #421. Turn west at the sign indicating Paris Canyon. Continue west on Road #421 to the intersection of Road 421 and Road 427. Approximately 3-3/4 miles. Take the left fork of the "Y" intersection onto Road 427. This Road ends in Paris Springs Campground about 1 mile from the intersection.
