Duncan Spring Trail

Starting at the Duncan Springs Trailhead, follow the trail towards Stoddard Mountain. Continue South/Southeast as you pass junctions with the trail to stay on route. This trail can be difficult to navigate so be sure to have a map with you to stay on course. The trail steadily climbs around Stoddard Mountain for the first half of the hike. Enjoy the wildflowers along the way if they are in season. There is a seasonal spring along the trail most reliable in the late spring/early summer. At the top, around the 4 mile mark, take in the beautiful vistas of the Zion Fingers. The trail then starts to descend through a valley and into a meadow. This part of the trail is through a wash so it can get very muddy depending on the season and recent weather. The trail ends at the intersection with the Pace Draw road. You can hike along the road to make it a loop or turn around and head back the way you came.
