Natural highlights include the Beaver Canyon Scenic Byway, and the Tushar Mountains, which host a number of peaks over 10,000 feet above sea level. The 301,105 acres managed by the district extend across the Tushar Mountain Range, in six counties: Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Millard, Piute, and Sevier.
