Kyle Canyon Picnic Area
Kyle Canyon Picnic Area offers 25 first come, first served day-use picnic sites along the Kyle Canyon wash. The picnic area is open seasonally through the warm months and possibly into the colder seasons for snow play as weather permits. During the summer season, camping is also allowed at this facility. The picnic area is set in an open forest of ponderosa pine, mountain mahogany and Gambel oak, which provides partial shade. Manzanita and wild roses dot the landscape. A seasonal stream and the highway parallels the area. Most sites have views of the surrounding towering canyon walls.
General Information
- This year-round picnic area contains several single and double sites, four of which are accessible. Sites are equipped with a picnic table, campfire ring and grill.
January - December
Day-Use only during picnic only season.
- Dogs must be on a leash at day use areas.
Day Use:
Single Site: $12/site/day (Monday - Thursday), $18/site/day (Friday - Sunday).
Double Site: $24/site/day (Monday - Thursday), $36/site/day (Friday - Sunday).
Please be prepared to pay with CASH or CHECK.
