Timber Sales

The primary goal of the Forest Service is to ensure the long-term health and vitality of forest ecosystems by managing timber harvests sustainably, taking into account factors like tree age, land conditions, and public demand to maintain biodiversity and productivity for future generations while allowing for commercial timber sales on public land.
