WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST
SALT LAKE RANGER DISTRICT
Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50 (a) & (b), the following acts are prohibited on the roads described below. All lands affected are located on the Salt Lake Ranger District, Wasatch-Cache National forest. This order is in effect until further notice.
- Operating any motorized vehicle on the Cardiff Fork Road (Road#80019) between 10 P.M. and 6 A.M.. [36 CFR 261.54 (e)]
Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50 (e), the following acts, or persons, are exempt from this order:
- Persons with a permit or contract authorizing the otherwise prohibited act.
- Authorized Federal, State, or local officers, or members of an authorized rescue or firefighting force in the performance of official duty, when authorized by the District Ranger.
AREA DESCRIBED
The entire length of the Cardiff Fork Road in Big Cottonwood Canyon, beginning at the intersection with State Road 190.

Violation of these prohibitions is punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000 or imprisonment of not more than 6 months or both.(16USC 551; 18USC 357l(b)(6))
This order is in addition to the Forest Travel Plan Order# 04-19-37 and other Forest Orders applicable to the area.
