SPECIAL ORDER OF FOREST SUPERVISOR WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST
OGDEN RANGER DISTRICT
The following order is established for public health and safety.
Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50 (a) & (b), the following acts are prohibited on the area and trail shown on the attached map and described in this order within the Wasatch-Cache National Forest. This order is in effect until further notice.
- Camping in or within 100 feet of the developed trailhead or camping within 100 feet of the developed trail;[36 CFR 261.SB(e)].
- Building, maintaining, attending or using a fire, or campfire in or within 100 feet of the developed trailhead or within 100 feet of the developed trail; [36 CFR 261.52(a)].
Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50 (e), the following acts, or persons, are exempt from this order:
- Persons with a permit or contract authorizing the otherwise prohibited act.
- Authorized Federal, state, or local officers, or members of an organized rescue or firefighting force in the performance of official duty, when authorized by the District Ranger.
Area Described:
The area commonly known as the Indian Trail and Coldwater Trailhead located adjacent to and beginning at about mile post ten, Utah State Road 39, Ogden Canyon and then commencing in a south and west direction along the Indian Trail. The Trail head is located at Township 6 North, Range 1 West, the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest quarter of section 24, Salt Lake Base Map.

Violation of these prohibitions is punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000 or imprisonment of not more than 6 months or both.(16USC 551; 18USC 357l(b)(6))
This order supersedes any previous order for the above described area and prohibitions.
