The Forest Service is considering a proposal to analyze reconstruction, replacement, relocation, and installation of utility lines in disturbed areas in a programmatic environmental analysis. The Forestwide Utility Lines in Disturbed Areas project would review these activities across the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest and provide certain limitations based on location and activity type. Specific projects would be reviewed to determine applicability of this environmental analysis and standard and site-specific design criteria would apply to minimize potential effects.
