Utah DNR Foothills Mine Reclamation Project
The Foothills Abandoned Mine Reclamation project plans to close hazardous abandoned mine openings in Weber, Morgan, Davis, and Salt Lake Counties. A total of 21 mine openings were identified as open and needing closure to protect public safety.
