Pittsburg and Mineral Basin Decommissioning
We are proposing to decommission two high elevation dams. The strategic decommissioning of these dams would promote a balanced ecological landscape, while allowing forest resources and conservation efforts to be focused on more important projects.

Forest Lake is located south of the American Fork River at the upper reaches of Shaffer Fork (FR194). Pittsburg Lake is located north of the American Fork River, just south of Alta Ski Area (FR007).
