Box Elder Campground is situated next to the town of Mantua and Mantua Reservoir in a pretty mountain valley just 5 miles from Brigham City, Utah. Visitors enjoy boating, fishing and exploring area trails.
The Utah Division of Water Quality has issued a HAB (Harmful Algal Bloom) warning advisory for nearby Mantua Reservoir. https://deq.utah.gov/dwq/mantua-reservoir
They recommend the following:
Do not swim or water ski
Avoid areas of algae when boating
Keep animals away
Do not drink the water
Clean fish well and discard guts
