Directions
Access #1: From Salt Lake City head west on I-80 and exit at Timpie. Follow Skull Valley Road south to Delle Ranch turn-off. Turn east (left) and go about 3 1/2 miles to the trailhead. There is no trailhead sign. Access #2: Via West Canyon Road west of Grantsville. The road is a dirt road. Easiest access to this trail is from West Canyon road out of Grantsville. A two wheel drive vehicle is sufficient for most of the road, but you may need a 4 wheel drive to get to the end of the road where the trail begins. This trail has been maintained as a primitive trail. There is not a trailhead sign and the trail may be difficult to locate. Access from the west side of the Stansbury's via Skull Valley Road is possible by two wheel drive except when the road become washed out. The trail begins at the end of the road in Box Canyon.
