Lame Horse Trail #055

The Lame Horse trail is an easy, out and back 2.4-mile trail that connects the Summit trail head to the Aspen Grove area. It travels through large stands of aspen trees and ferns. The trail parallels the Alpine Loop road as it leaves the Summit trail head, and works its way down hill to the Aspen Grove area. It provides excellent views in to the Primrose Cirque.
