Willow Creek Trail #025
Willow Creek Trail begins at the Willow Creek Guard Station, follows Racetrack Hollow to Willow Creek, and continues to the Strawberry River. The trail is unshaded for its entire length. The trail is rated moderate to difficult and only maintained to the Forest Service boundary. At the lower end of the maintained section, the trail is overgrown with sagebrush. The trail crosses numerous loose shale slopes producing hazardous footing. Below French Hollow, large machinery has torn up the trail in places. It takes full attention the entire length of the trail to avoid losing the trail, one can generally find their way simply by following the bottom of the canyon. The vegetation is primarily sagebrush, willow, and various grasses.

Directions
Access: From I-15 take Orem 800 North Exit 272. Follow 800 North to the mouth of Provo Canyon veering to the left, where you tie into Highway 189 in Provo Canyon. It is approximately 22 miles from the mouth of the canyon to Heber. Turn right at the Junction of Highways 189 and 40. Follow Highway 40 up Daniels Canyon past the Strawberry Visitors Center to Forest Service Road #060 (approximately 29.5 miles). Turn right onto FR #060 heading towards Soldier Creek Bay Day Use Area. South end trailhead access is via Forest Road #079 to the Willow Creek Guard Station, and north end trailhead access is about one mile from the Forest Service boundary at the confluence of Willow Creek and Strawberry River. No water is available at either end, but there is an outhouse at the Willow Creek Guard Station.
