Gaining in popularity, this often crowded, yet challenging hike takes hikers through several ecosystems before leading to the main event - three large waterfalls wedged between tall, rocky mountains. Access to the falls and Eagle Peak is through the Cha’chaany Hamuk Trailhead. The reconstructed trailhead has hardpack parking, two double vault toilets, trash and recycling containers, accessible picnic tables, shade structures, and and information kiosk. It is important to assess physical condition before beginning this or any hike. The falls typically do not run in the summer months and the pool at the base of the falls gets stagnant with algae.
If you do not feel you are ready for the intensity of this hike, please reference our Recreation Trail Guide for a list of other options in this area. For more information on this hike, please see our Three Sisters Trail Spotlight Feature
