Casa Diablo Maintenance Prescribed Burning
From 1999 to 2009, approximately 50% of the 10,000 acre Casa Diablo Project area has been treated with prescribed fire in the Jeffrey pine understory. This project proposes maintenance prescribed burning on a 7-15 year rotation in the same area.
