Bishop Park Group Campground
Located along Bishop Creek located between the turn-off to South Lake and the community of Aspendell, this group camp is by reservation only. Facilities include flush toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings.
Popular activities include horseback riding, wildlife viewing, hiking, and fishing in a stocked trout stream. There are stores, marinas, restaurants, and pack stations in the canyon area. Campground is located near John Muir Wilderness trailheads.
CAUTION: Bears are frequent in this area. All food must be kept in approved containers. There are 2 bear proof storage lockers on site.

General Information
Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
Tent camping only. No RV camping in parking lot. Maximum of 25 people on this group site. There is room for only 8 vehicles on this group site. This site is not suitable for RVs or trailers. Maximum stay 14 days. Active bear area. All food must be secured overnight and when not attended, bear boxes are provided and must be used (typical bear box size 48" x 30" x 36"). Always keep a clean camp and do not feed wildlife.
Overnight Use:
Group (nonelectric) Site: $94/night.
Two night minimum on weekends.
Dogs must be leashed in all developed recreation sites.

From Bishop go west on State Route 168 (Line Street)approximately 13 miles toward Lake Sabrina and Aspendell. Bishop Park Group Campground will be on your left, about 2 miles after the South Lake road junction.
