McMurry Meadows
This road starts West of Big Pine and goes past volcanic landscapes (Crater Mountain) and meadows. It's an easy drive to the meadows, however past McMurry Meadows the road gets very difficult. Good route for a day trip and picnics.

Directions
From Hwy 395 in Big Pine turn West on Crocker Street, this becomes Glacier Lodge Road 2.6 miles to McMurry Meadows Road turn left here and take another left, do not go right. About six miles to McMurry Meadows.
