Upper Pine Grove Campground
This small campground along Rock Creek features 9 campsites in the tall Jeffrey Pines. Some sites are flat for easier accessibility.
Reservations
Self register at campground. All sites are first come first served.
General Information
Approximate operating season: May 16 - October 5, 2025
Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
The America the Beautiful Access and Senior Passes are honored here for 1/2 price camping.
Maximum stay 14 days. Active bear area. All food must be secured overnight and when not attended, bear boxes are provided and must be used (typical bear box size 48" x 30" x 36"). Always keep a clean camp and do not feed wildlife.
Overnight Use:
Single Site: $35/night.
Additional Vehicle: $10/night.

Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to Single Campsites ONLY.

Directions
From Bishop take US Hwy 395 north to Tom's Place. Or, from Mammoth Lakes go south on 395 to Tom's Place. Turn west on Rock Creek Lake Rd and go approximately 8 miles to the campground on the left.
