Cascade River Access
Views overlooking the rapids on the Salmon River. Good spot to photograph rafters. Hike 1/4 mile down to an overlook of the rapids. Hike down to the water.
General Information
A current California Campfire Permit is required to use a camp stove, barbecue or have a campfire. Local fire restrictions supersede the campfire permit. Inquire at the Ranger Station before having a fire.

Directions
From Orleans travel 8 miles north on Hwy 96 to Somes Bar. Go east on county road 2B01 approx 11 miles to an overlook. Hike 1/4 mile down to an overlook of the rapids. Hike down to the water.
