American Canyon Seasonal Campground

There is currently no access to American Canyon Campground via the Avenales Ranch. A reservation system is being developed and will be in place for next year’s hunting season.
General Information
In campgrounds and picnic areas, dogs mst be kept on a leash. Dogs must wear a collar with current tags at all times, as state and county laws apply on National Forest System lands.

From San Luis Obispo: Hwy 101, 8 miles north to Hwy 58, 3 miles east, Pozo Rd. 19 miles east, Pozo-Branch Mtn. Rd. 7 miles southeast, Forest road 30S04 2 miles northeast.
