Halfmoon Campground
Halfmoon Campground has ten shaded campsites near the Piru Creek. located around a loop in the middle of the facility. Each site includes a picnic table and a fire ring/grill. Fires are allowed only in designated fire rings. Pets are allowed. There is a vault toilet available.
Plan to be completely self-sustainable for the duration of your trip. There is no potable water onsite. The campsites all have a good amount of space from one another and allow you to have the much-desired privacy and intimacy you want in a camping experience.
The dirt road to camp is normally accessible by a 2-wheel-drive vehicle.
No vehicle travel in Piru Creek, except on the Piru Creek Trail.

General Information
Access to site may be closed between November 1st and April 30th each year due to Multiple Vehicle Use Management (MVUM) Seasonal Closure.
Quiet Hours: 10:00pm – 6:00am
- 14-day stay limit.
- Fires are allowed only in designated fire rings.

- Pack out what you pack in and Leave No Trace!
- Vehicles on the OHV routes require either a license plate, red, or green sticker. Information for red and green sticker regulations and licensing requirements can be found at www.ohv.parks.ca.gov
- Must have current registration and operating spark arrestor. You are required by the California Vehicle Code to have a spark arrester, maintained and in effective working order, whenever you are operating your OHV on any forest-covered land, brush-covered land, or grass-covered land.

Day Use:
$5 per vehicle per day
$30 per annual
$5 per secondary annual
Adventure Pass ($5/day or $30/year), or Annual Interagency Pass, Senior Interagency Pass, or Interagency Access Pass.
Dogs MUST be on a leash not longer than six feet, or otherwise under physical restrictive control [36 CFR 261.16(j)]. Read more info about pet ethics.
