Big Cove Boat-In Campground
Big Cove Boat-In Campground is 100% RESERVATION ONLY. Reservations can be made up to one day in advance of arrival date.
There is a composting toilet at this facility.
WHERE TO PARK: There is a parking area specifically designated for boat-in campground use located within Cultus Lake Campground. Visitors with reservations at one of the three boat-in campgrounds can launch their boats at the Cultus Lake Day Use boat ramp, but must park in the designated boat-in camping parking lot. A recreation pass is NOT required for this lot.

Visit Recreation.gov for current operating dates. This campground will be closing at Noon on September 21, 2025, and the last night to reserve a campsite is September 20, 2025.
- Camping: 50% discount for single site camping with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age, or Golden Access.
- Day use: Recreation Passes may be used as a form of fee payment.
- Single Campsite Rate: $22/night
- Campers park in the Cultus Lake Campground boat launch parking lot within the campground for no additional fee
- One vehicle included with reservation – Each Additional Vehicle: $10.00
NOTE: Holders of a Golden Age and Golden Access Passports and Senior and Access Passes are entitled to the following discounts on expanded amenity recreation fees: - A 50 percent discount on the fee for a single camping unit. This discount does not apply to use of a cabin, lookout, double camping unit, triple camping unit, group camping unit, extra vehicle fees, or any additional camping units and separately charged utility, water, hook-up or day use fees.

Directions
From Bend, OR: Travel 46.0 miles southwest on Cascade Lakes Highway (46), then west on Forest Road 4635 for 2 miles, then boat over to the north shore of lake.
Hikers interested in this campground can access it from the Winopee Trail.
