West Cultus Boat-In Campground is 100% RESERVATION ONLY. Reservations can be made up to one day in advance of arrival date

West Cultus Boat-In is a boat-in only campground on the west side of Cultus Lake.  This area offers 12 tent sites. For a map of this facility click here.  If you like to camp in a very rustic setting next to the water then this is the campground for you.  Mosquitoes can be heavy in this campground, particularly in the early season.

WHERE TO PARK: There is a parking area specifically designated for boat-in campground use located within Cultus Lake Campground. Visitors with reservations at one of the three boat-in campgrounds can launch their boats at the Cultus Lake Day Use boat ramp, but must park in the designated boat-in camping parking lot. A recreation pass is NOT required for this lot.

Tentative Opening: June 13, 2025 - September 21, 2025

Visit Recreation.gov for current operating dates. This campground will be closing at noon on September 21, 2025, and the last night to reserve a campsite is September 20, 2025.

Campground is boat/hike in only.

  • Single Campsite Rate: $22/night
  • Campers park in the Cultus Lake Campground boat launch parking lot within the campground for no additional fee
  • One vehicle included with reservation – Each Additional Vehicle: $10.00
NOTE: Holders of a Golden Age and Golden Access Passports and Senior and Access Passes are entitled to the following discounts on expanded amenity recreation fees: -  A 50 percent discount on the fee for a single camping unit. This discount does not apply to use of a cabin, lookout, double camping unit, triple camping unit, group camping unit, extra vehicle fees, or any additional camping units and separately charged utility, water, hook-up or day use fees.

From Bend, OR: Travel 46.0 miles southwest on Cascade Lakes Highway (46), then west on Forest Road 4635 for 2 miles, then boat over to west end of lake or hike in.
