Wood River Trail

The Wood River Trail is a short, beautiful trail that is primarily constructed of a wood boardwalk, which creates a nice leisure hike next to the meandering Wood River adjacent to Wood River Day Use Area. It has accessible boardwalk areas for people to sit and enjoy the view of the river as well as the abundant wildlife.

Getting There

Directions

From Klamath Falls, Oregon travel 20 miles north on Highway 97, then another 12 miles northwest on Highway 62 (toward Crater Lake National Park). Then proceed one mile north on the Sun Mountain Road. Turn left on Forest Road 960 and follow to Wood River Day Use Area and Wood River Trailhead.
