Goat Point Salvage
A snow and freezing rain event in Jan. 2012 caused extensive tree damage. These stands have been identified with substantial tree fall/top breakage. The purpose of this project is to recover valuable wood products from dead and dying trees. A comment period on the draft decision/ananalysis document ends December 23, 2013. Please see the "Notification for Comment Period" letter below on how to submit comments.

The proposed salvage units are located on the west of the Town of Willard. The stands are located adjacent to Road 1800-011 and Road 68. It is approximately 4 miles from the USGS office. T4N, R9E.
