Campground: Peterson Prairie Group Camp

Peterson Prairie Group Camp is located within Peterson Prairie Campground.  The Group Camp can accommodate large or small groups in a large informal space. It is popular during the fall huckleberry season.

Current Conditions
09/21/2024: Campground will close for the winter season September 22, 2024. When it is open it is available by reservation only. Reservations can be made at https://www.recreation.gov/camping up to 6 months in advance. For more information contact ExplorUS at 661-702-1420.

Up to 50 people per site.

Approximately June through September.

Check in: 2:00 p.m.; Check-out: 12:00 p.m.; Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Maximum number of people is 50. Maximum vehicle length is 30 ft. Maximum number of vehicles is 5 RV's or 10 vehicles.

Directions

From Trout Lake, WA travel west on State Highway 141 to Forest Road 24 at the forest boundary. Continune on Forest Road 24 for about 2.5 miles to the campground.
