An informational kiosk has a map of the forest and describes recreational opportunities. There is information about the history of Peterson Prairie.  In the summer season a faucet provides potable water.

Directions

From Trout Lake, Washington go west on Highway 141/Forest Road 24. At the forest boundary continue west on Forest Road 24 for 2.5 miles. Kiosk is on the right across from Peterson Prairie Campground.
