Sno-Park: Government Mineral Springs
In a mature and varied forest setting interspersed with mountain meadows and geographic features, this park is near the Trapper Creek Wilderness. Here visitors will find access to trails leading to remote forest lakes, high-mountain elevations and some of the most spectacular country found anywhere.
No groomed trails at this site. This site provides winter access to Goverment Mineral Springs rental and private cabins. Parking is along the side of the road and not in the snow plow turn around. Park between the Sno-Park signs.
General Information
A Washington State Sno-Park Permit is required December 1 to March 31. Sno-Park permits are available to purchase online and also at Ashford Valley Grocery in Ashford, Trout Lake Grocery in Trout Lake and the Chelatchie Prairie General Store in Amboy.
- Sno-park permits help pay for snow removal, trail grooming, sanitation facilities, mapping, trail signs, safety education, enforcement and program administration.
Do not park in the snow plow turn around.

Directions
Drive from Carson north on Highway 30, travel about 15 miles, turn left on Road 3065. Sno-park is at the end of the paved road.
