Trailhead: Goat Mountain

Provides access to: Goat Mountain Trail #217 which links up with Vanson Ridge Trail #213A, Vanson Peak Trail #217A and Green River Trail #213.

No pass or permit required.

  • No motorized vehicles are permitted on these trails.

Getting There

Directions

From Randle, WA: drive south on Forest Service Road 25 to Forest Service Road 26. Turn right on Forest Road 26 and travel north. Turn right on Forest Road 2612;  travel approximately 1/2 mile to trailhead. 

From Northwoods, WA: Forest Road 25 is closed until further notice for construction. 

Travel Considerations

Forest Road 26 is partially paved but rough. Narrow, unpaved sections exist. Drive with caution.

Parking

Parking lot may accomodate a limited number of small horse trailers. Otherwise, equestrian users may park at Green River Horse Camp and use trail #213 to access the Goat Mountain Trail #217.
