Permits are required to use the section of the Round-the-Mountain trail in the Yakama Indian Reservation. (Overnight stay permits are available. Camping is allowed only in the designated sites.) If accessing, Mout Adams Wilderness be sure to obtain self issue permit at trailhead.

Wilderness restrictions apply in Mt. Adams Wilderness. Mountain bikes can only be used from the trailhead up to the junction of Pineway Trail #71.

Directions

From Trout Lake, WA take Mt. Adams Highway north to the intersection with Forest Road 23. At this intersection stay right. Continue driving to the forest boundary where the road becomes Forest Road 82. Stay on Forest Road 82 to the junction with Forest Road 8225 at Pineside Sno-Park. Take a left onto Forest Road 8225 and go to the three way intersection. At this intersection take Spur Road 150, the middle road, and continue to the trailhead.
