Gold Mountain Road Repair

The White Chuck Bridge was destroyed, and nine sites along Roads 22, 2210, and 2211 were damaged in the devastating October 2003 flood event. Record rainfall damaged a multitude of National Forest System Roads and trails including the bridge and roads discussed in the Gold Mountain Road Repair Environmental Assessment. This document analyzes the effects of the road repairs for the south side of Gold Mountain (also known as Gold Hill) and parts of the Sauk River drainage, located on the Darrington Ranger District, Darrington, WA. The repairs are proposed by the Darrington Ranger District with Emergency Relief for Federal Owned (ERFO) funding from the Federal Highways Administration.
