Lower Sauk Boat Launch

The Lower Sauk boat launch is available for motorized and non-motorized boats and provides access to fishing areas on the Lower Sauk and Skagit Rivers. There is also a picnic area with a shelter. It has a picnic area with a shelter, pedestal grills, and portable toilets. The launch provides put-in access at river mile 12.3. There is gravel parking with room for 50+ vehicles and boat trailer parking. The site is especially popular in spring and fall, during fishing season. The access road is partially paved.

Directions

Drive east on Highway 20 to Rockport, Washington and State Route 530. Drive south toward Darrington for 11.5 miles on SR 530. Cross the Sauk River Bridge and turn right for the parking at the Lower Sauk Boat Launch. Coming from the south: drive north on State Route 530 from Darrington for 7.5 miles. Turn left at the sign for the Lower Sauk Boat Ramp.
