Lava Restoration
Improve forest health in West, East & Middle Fork of Hood River subwatersheds. Treatments include plantation thinning, firewood removal & huckleberry enhancement, plus decommissioning 2.1 miles and closing (year round & seasonal) 22.3 miles of roads. Collaboration on this project is being coordinated by the Hood River Collaborative Stewardship Crew.
