Permits

Forest product permits include those for: Woody materials - fuelwood, post and poles, Christmas trees, Edible material (berries, plants and mushrooms), Decorative materials (pine cones, grasses), Minerals and Live plants.

A special use permit may be required for certain special activities, such as large groups, educational activities, commercial filmmaking, photography, construction of roads, and mineral and timber processing. In general, permits are necessary for any activity that requires the forest to be altered in any way or conducted for the purpose of generating income.
