South George Vegetation and Fuels Management Project
Vegetation management project to improve vigor, health, and fire resistence within a forested ecosystem. It includes timber harvest, treatment of acitivity and natural fuels, landscape prescribed burning, and non-commercial treatments. Scoping was conducted in March of 2009. The decision made on this project has been appealed. The project will not be implemented while the appeals are being considered.
